AR Kickoff Zapata North Elementary School kicks off their AR program in a Groovy way!! This year's theme is Peace, Love, Read. Students will begin testing on AR books to meet this year's goals!
Grandparent's Day ZNES hosted Grandparent's Day on Friday, September 8, 2017, 9:00 AM-11:00 A.M. Reading took place in the library where grandparents read to the children and stations were set up in the gym for photos and refreshments.
P.T.O. September 5, 20175:30 P.M. Zapata North Elementary School held it's first P.T.O. meeting on September 5, 2017 at 5:30 P.M. at the ZNE gym and continued to the student's homeroom class where teachers had Powerpoint presentations for parents regarding rules and expectations.
Accelerated Reader Student Celebration @ ZNE ZNES AR STORE a success! Students used their AR points to purchase prizes!!! Mrs. J. Pineda wishes to congratulate all students for a job well done in reading!!!
