Zapata North Elementary School held it's first P.T.O. meeting on September 5, 2017 at 5:30 P.M. at the ZNE gym and continued to the student's homeroom class where teachers had Powerpoint presentations for parents regarding rules and expectations.

ZNES AR STORE a success! Students used their AR points to purchase prizes!!! Mrs. J. Pineda wishes to congratulate all students for a job well done in reading!!!

ZNES wishes to congratulate our 2016-17 Teacher of the Year, Norma Chapa and our 2016-17 Instructional Assistant of the Year, Claudia Paredes! We really appreciate all you do for our students!

100 Days of Perfect Attendance for North Elementary Students!!

Rebecca Gonzalez helped sort out over 650 books at ZNES. These books were donated by the Molina Foundation to all students at North Elementary. Each child will receive a book to keep at home. Special thanks to everyone who helped make this possible!

Students had an amazing time playing in the A.R. basketball tournament! Special thanks to Coach Hinkle, Coach Hinojosa, and Coach Rodriguez for coordinating this great event!

Maria Eva says she enjoys coming to school everyday and working at the library. She says,"I love spending time with students and helping promote literacy." Mrs. Jackie Pineda wishes to thank Mrs. Ramirez for all the work she has done processing books.

ZNES students participated in this year's food drive where they learned about the importance of giving back to our community! ZNES would like to thank our students and all families who gave cans of food to make this food drive such a successful event!

All 3rd grade students at ZNES received a dictionary from the Zapata Lions Club! ZNES wishes to thank all Lions Club members for their generous donation.
